Warranty Coverage
NAPC warrants to the original Buyer that any unit purchased shall be covered from defects in material and/or workmanship. NAPC reserves the right to determine the course of action regarding repair and/or replacement of any and all warrantable units. Entering into this contract, the Buyer accepts there will be no refunds for units installed or used in any way. Any refund or compensation for unused units is at the sole discretion of NAPC. All decisions made by NAPC are final. In the event of a warranty claim, all warrantable units must be returned with a complete service history, mileage of vehicle at installation, the current mileage of the vehicle and proof of purchase (date/invoice).
This Warranty shall be nullified and NAPC shall be relieved from any responsibility or liability under this warranty on any unit for which required cores have not been returned to NAPC. This Warranty shall be nullified and NAPC shall be relieved from any responsibility or liability under this warranty on any unit for which invoices carry an open balance (eg: all bills must be paid in full and all cores must have been returned before warranty replacement or repair will even be considered by NAPC).
In the event of a unit failure, the Buyer must contact NAPC immediately to notify them of the failure. Once contact has been established, the Buyer is required to fill out the Warranty Claim Form which will be faxed or emailed to NAPC. Once it has been completed and received by NAPC, further instructions will be given to the Buyer. In some cases, the defective unit must be returned to NAPC for inspection before any replacement unit is sent to the Buyer. After the unit is inspected by NAPC and the cause of failure is completed, NAPC will provide written documentation stating the condition of the unit and determine, to the best of their ability, what caused the malfunction or failure. Based on the findings of the inspection report, a decision will be made as to the validity of the warranty claim. NAPC will then contact the Buyer and notify them of their findings and what course of action will be further taken.
In the event the Buyer requires immediate service and chooses not to wait for their unit to be returned to NAPC for inspection, service, and potential repair or replacement, a replacement unit can be purchased for the full current MSRP of the unit, plus applicable core charge and shipping. When the defective unit arrives at NAPC, the core charge will be refunded to the Buyer, and the unit will be inspected. During inspection, the unit will be assessed for warrantable damage. If the unit has failed under the terms of the original warranty contract, NAPC will refund the full purchase price paid by the Buyer for the replacement unit. In the event the unit has failed due to any issue not covered under the original warranty contract, charges will be assessed based on parts required to return the unit to NAPC standards and the Buyer will be refunded the difference (if any) between the purchase price paid for the replacement unit and the cost of parts required for repair.
Specified OIL & New Transmission Cooler (as required), as per the attached documents on the unit, MUST be used in the Unit in order for warranty to apply.
All shop labour rates are set at $50.00 per hour based on Chilton’s Labour Guide. There are no exceptions to this rule. As well there will be no additional costs paid for shop materials or external coolers and flushing.
