With our company adding a state-of-the-art transmission dyno to our remanufacturing process will not only deliver you a quality unit but it will also increase the reliability of your unit. Studies consistently show that load testing drastically reduces warranty issues. When that unit you purchased is delivered, you will know that it is in top running order and that there will be no issues once it is properly installed. Then you and your customer can have peace of mind knowing that the next time they show up at your shop it will not be because of a warranty issue.

Going Beyond The Competition

We are proud to introduce our latest piece of equipment to join North American Powertrain Components. The SuperFlow TransDyno SF-66K is state-of-the-art and its the first one of its kind ever built and built to NAPC specs. This brand new model from SuperFlow will be testing all of our Automatic Transmissions. Its electric motor will output up to 700 ft/lbs of torque to each unit during testing. It will monitor and test virtually every aspect of the transmission’s performance, under simulated road load conditions, including main pressure, up to 11 additional pressures, input and output speeds, input torque, output torque, PRNDL switches, fluid flow, pressure switches and parking pawl.

With our new Transmission Dyno we can also:
  • test all gears
  • evaluate converter noise, pump noise, planetary set noise
  • performance hot and cold testing
  • find leaks at all available pressure ports (cooler lines, clutch pressure taps, etc.)
  • test shift points
  • test front pump capacity-flow pressure
  • test stall speed-forward and reverse
  • measure throttle valve pressure
  • perform automatic and manual upshift, downshift
  • test vacuum pressure modulator
  • test solenoid functions
  • test converter performance (lockup, non-lockup)
  • measure input and output torque
  • evaluate internal transmission losses
  • measure all output shaft speeds
  • measure fluid temperature and flow
  • test hydraulic function of governor, clutch valve body and overdrive
