With all NAPC automatic transmissions, detail and workmanship are taken to a higher level. Our process is systematic and demands attention to every step of the process. It all begins with a complete tear down of the unit. Each part is then meticulously inspected and cleaned. Only after each part is inspected and passes our scrutinizing judgment will existing parts be reused. Otherwise new parts are installed. Our reusable parts are always glass beaded, polished and/or cleaned before they are used again. Areas like bearing surfaces and splines always receive special attention.
If there are updated parts available for a particular unit we use them over the OE option. Each automatic unit is assembled with new bushings, seal rings, gaskets, seals, and OE remanufactured torque converter, steel frictions, new filter and new electronics. A complete master overhaul kit is used when assembling these units and each unit is torqued to our specifications. In some heavy duty applications we have internal modifications that are exclusive to our remanufactured units. To top it off each unit is then signature painted to look showroom ready. It is then put on our transmission dyno to ensure that each unit leaves our building in perfect working order. We overlook nothing when building our units.
