With the ever increasing complexity of automobiles and trucks in North America, it takes a special equipped shop to remanufacture and test all the various types of automatic and standard transmissions that are available.

The days are past when one type of transmission would span up to 5 years in various models of vehicles. Today most transmissions are code specific to a particular vehicle model and year because of the electronics and the wide variety of ratios and tires sizes that are available. Without specific electric testing equipment such as solenoid and valve body testing units and a fully electronic dynamometer, rebuilding transmissions creates a high probability of failure.

At North American Powertrain Components, we have invested a large amount of capital to bring our remanufacturing process to a new level of unsurpassed excellence. With the addition of our new Superflow Transdyno SF-66K, each transmission is fully load tested electronically as well as hydraulically. It is our commitment to engineering beyond the gears.
